This was a testing facility for an experimental commercial drugs assessment technology.  

A laboratory fit-out within an existing building was designed on a demanding fast-track programme of just five months.  

Facilities included clean rooms, laboratories with safety cabinets and fume cupboards, radio-isotope handling laboratories, special gamma camera rooms, and offices and ancillary accommodation.  

The work was completed on time and on budget.  

Creative approaches to procurement had to be employed whereby design and construction overlapped.
